The Painting I Want is Already Sold:
If you are in love with a painting but it has already sold, please contact me anyway. The "Sold" sign may only mean that a buyer has put a deposit on a painting. It's very rare, but checks can bounce or a buyer can simply change his mind. If that happens, the piece will be sold to the next interested party on my list, and that means I need to know your name, contact information, and the piece you want to buy. Additionally, while I am never willing to create an identical painting, it may be possible for you to
commission a similar work, perhaps one even more specific to your particular tastes. I also keep a running list of "first rights of refusal," which I can offer to a client or potential client on the basis of subject, style, color palette, or whatever it was about the piece in question that drew your interest. If I know what you're looking for, I am happy to contact you the next time I happen to create a piece that fits your criteria. Unlike in the case of a commission, you've made no deposit and have no
obligations to the artist; you simply get "first dibs" on new work that suits your tastes. If I can be of help, please call the studio or consult the Commission Policy Page by clicking HERE.
